Still have to do some touch up on it, but you get the general idea... I wasn't going to do a sun, but Keegan said I had to, because they make people happy, and Noah needs some happy. He is still so adorable some days... he is also doing a card, it looks a lot like mine (LOL)
Now, a vodka and 7up is calling my name... might post more later.
BTW, I am not impressed with Tmobile's 3G network, so far it has been slow and mostly not available to me. In a progressive place like Portland, I find it's lack of availability extremely odd. Still making friends with the new phone, and still wishing they had included a couple screen protectors. I did discover no thanks to yahoo or Tmobile, that if I do yahoo via their mobile access, I lose less options, like moving incoming mail into designated folders, and deleting unwanted email is easier.... I am getting access to some things I could not access on my Dash in email... but direct links embedded in emails seem to be less available to me, that coud be Android's fault though. Fortunately I remember being uncomfortable with my Dash at first too.... oh, and Motoblur seems to lock up a lot. Hope they work that out in upgrades.

Yesterday I got a donation from a parent of pottery glazes. over 100 jars of every color you can imagine, each jar full, and a value of $3-5 each! I still have to completely sort them all and determine how many different colors I will have out at a time. TOO Many choices will just overly confuse the kids and there are many shades of colors that are barely different.
Overall I have been pretty depressed with the extra darkness this week. but the week is ending off good and I hope to have a good weekend.

He's baaaaack...and looking cuter than ever! Yesterday, we worked out a deal-
he poses for pics in exchange for nuts. Win win situation for the both of us :-D
PS: If you're a squirrel lover like I am, a really wonderful squirrel movie is "The
Great Rupert." It's all about a little squirrel who helps out a family who is down
on their luck. Clicke here and watch it for free.

Here's the repurposed/recycled jewelry necklace I made, a few weeks ago.
I'm now on to working on a squirrel themed one, which is a lot more complex
than this one. I'm trying to learn wire wrapping, for the 2nd necklace, but am
not doing so well. Pretty frustrating learning curve :-( Oh well...I'm persistant
and will figure it out and become a master of it by the end of the month. ;-)
Do you have a price point?
Do you think people would be interested in small assemblages? Say in the $50. and under range?
Do you think people would be MORE interested in parts for assemblage?
Do you think jewelry is of more interest than "art"?
Are prints or small collages of interest?
Thanks!
I am sipping my second cup of coffee and have watched the sky turn from swirls of marble, magenta, violet, orange and gold to a clear blue this early hour. It has been a peaceful sunrise. Last night as I went to see clients west of town I was treated to the most spectacular view of sunset. I feel as if I am framed by rising and setting sun. There seems something magical about that. When I was a chlild innocent of factors of time zones, space and geography I believed that while the sun rose in the east it was setting in China, and when setting it rose in Japan, I was always the romantic! LOL However when driving one really should pay attention to the road at sunset. I almost clipped a doe that ran across the road in front of my car, missed it by just a breath. This time of year they are just addlepated by hunters and the big rut! Hunting with firearms season starts tomorrow morning at dawn. The local economy is anticipating a boost to the coffers and it has all the drama, color, and emotion of Christmas here in the northwoods, for those that hunt. Many of the families in the woods rely on venison to fill their freezers for the long cold winter. The church has its traditional turkey and all the trimmings hunter's supper tomorrow night. I'll cook a couple of turkeys for that. Or Tom will, as I'm getting my hair permed and colored tomorrow morning and then going to an antique store with a friend after to see what treasures I might find to use in an art project or two. My next major art projects will be to use up some of the old photos and cabinet photos I've collected at flea markets and antique stores. I also have a project in mind to use some of our old family photos and various pairs of of our old eye glasses that we've kept for some reason. I will have to order or get to some place where I can find a larger canvas for that.
II had a really excellent day yesterday. That I have recovered from the Big D. is evident in finding a balance between creative time, reading, work, housework and time just hanging out with Tom in the evenings when he is home. a resurgence of my desire to actually enjoy mundane things like cleaning and cooking. Before work yesterday I scrubbed down the bathroom and had it sparkling! Changed the sheets on the bed and did a few other household tasks before going to see clients. Scrubbing is not one of my favorite things but it's great exercise! I joked with a girlfriend on facebook that I realized my cleaning muscles had atrophied as after scrubbing our large kitchen floor on Wed. and the bathroom yesterday my body was protesting in loud screams! Thank the gods for ibuprofen! I cooked chicken tacos for dinner last night and then settled down for an evening of reading and stitching on a doll while watching CSI and THE MENTALIST. I was going to go to bed after but Bill Maher was on Letterman, along with Jeeter, Posada, Pettit and Matsui from the Yankees. Though not a Yankees fan particularly it was an interesting interview and I enjoyed their happiness at their victory in the serieis.

I'm not embarassed by watching a lot of TV. I'm always multitasking while the TV is on. Tom and I are usually both doing other things while the TV is on. It's off when the best shows aren't on. So long as I'm not sitting there like a lump I don't feel bad about having it on.
TODAY'S TO DO LIST:
1. Consultation meeting with Dr. D. and the girls in Roseau over lunch
2. Mail in to the regional office this week's progress notes
3. Fill out billing invoice for the week and fax into the office.
4. READ
5. Thaw turkeys
6. Work on the dolls some more this evening while watching TV with Tom.
7. Do a page in my art journal.
8. Post to Livejournal
9. Do some laundry
10. Get some exercise since I'm not cleaning today. (I often do this while watching TV in the evenings)
Other than the perm, trip to the antique store, attending the hunter's supper I have no other plans for the weekend other than to read and work on a bit of artsy/craftsy stuff. I know the lull in my caseload will end eventually so I'm enjoying all the free time at present.
Two days before the beginning the 40 Days and 40 nights of Noah's Ark
<a href="http://www.citiestrit.co.uk/comic/110620
My AEDM project from Wed. Nov 4th: Another sun plaque-
I am not quite sure why it is showing so much shading when scanned. I shade from underneath, visually in person it is really subdued, but the scanner seems to pick up more than shows on the surface.
And my project for Thurs. Nov 5th: A acrylic sun painted onto fabric (it is going to be used in a purse later this month)-
The Friday project is going to be a 4x6 art card for Noah Biorkman, the boy I posted about yesterday.
The hardest part of AEDM for me is the scanning and posting... enjoying the art making though. Might even wander into new territory with this, (something sunface free), eventually. Also hoping to dabble in textile art along the way.
For now, back to bed for me.
